Sequoia Woods Country Club
The clubhouse is open to the public, daily at 12:00noon.
Golf is for members only but over 85 private golf clubs in Northern California receive reciprocal privileges. Check with SWCC to make arrangements.
Calaveras Big Trees State Park
Calaveras Big Trees State Park preserves two groves of giant sequoias in the North and South Groves of the park and offers year-round recreation. Within the park you will find campgrounds, hiking trails, a Visitor Center, Warming Hut, and opportunities for many types of outdoor recreation. Park staff and Docents offer educational programs that will enhance your understanding and enjoyment of this special place.
Bear Valley Ski Resort
ONLY 30 miles away, Bear Valley offers a total of ten lifts and 75+ trails across 1680 ski-able acres and a 1900′ vertical drop for an amazing amount of variety for all abilities. The Lifts include a high-speed 6-pack, a high-speed quad, two triple chairs, four double chairs, and two conveyor carpet lifts with one carpet exclusively dedicated to the Cub Club Children’s Learning Center.
